Hi all, my name is Pete and my forum name is Tosk (don't ask, long story).
I am married with 4 kids, 3 in secondary college & the youngest in still in primary school.
I am pretty much a non stop gamer in my spare time, not that there is much of that. Games like Uncharted & the Metal Gear series are among the best I have played. But the best by far has to be the Gran Turismo series. I have been playing it since GT1 & I have not missed a release yet!
Back in 1998 when I first started playing GT I used to race against drivers from a forum called the "GTF" (long dead now) where we would race cars & track combos each week & post our times, it was always great fun.

In 2000 I decieded to start a series of mf my own, it was called TORC & now we are running it's 16th season. It has been a blast running the series, we have had some good turn outs (87 drivers) and some not so good turn outs (13 drivers), but all of them have been fun.
With the growth of the series it was natural for it to need a home, which is what I did in 2004 (Forum & Web).

Thanks AERO for pointing this place out, hopefully I will be posting here often.

Cheers

BTW - my PSN ID is TORC_Tosk if anyone wants to add me!

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas.

Hawkfum - I raced Torc for 8 season using GT3, from 2001 to 2004, it has definitely been the best GT so far for the type of series I run.

Welcome Pete, nice to see you hook up with the PureGT guys!

Lotsa good blokes here, they're pretty much all die-hard GT-ers and we all love a good, tight race with no punting, shunting or grunting, LOL!

BTW, Pete, TORC would have to be one of the longest-running GT Forums in the world wouldn't it?

It would have to be close. There was another series run by a guy called soccerboy back in the day, it was a weekly series & had been running for 5 or 6 years when i got involved. Not sure if it is still going, might have to have a google.

Hi I'm Chris aka "Ambo" I'm 37 and just can't get enough of racing games - whether it's TOCA3, GT4 on the PS2, GT5p, F1, Supercar Challenge on the PS3 or rFactor on the PC, I have them all.. But not Forza - as I have the G25!
GT is the game for me - I often day dream about waking up on a Saturday morning to find GT5 sitting on my door mat.
No doubt you'll be seeing a lot of more of me in the near future - hopefully the rear!

Welcome to Pure GT Ambo! You're sure to find some of the quickest GT-ers in the world here and we're an easygoing bunch of blokes and gals (and even kids!).

Take a look around at our various sub-forums. We have various threads about things, some of which are off limits to those who have a post count of less than 50 (this is easily reachable). Once you've reached the 50 post count limit, you become a PureGT-er and get access to some other parts of the forum too!

Enjoy!
